I've been just a bit down since yesterday afternoon.
Right now I say I am just at the lower end of normal
mood range but if it lasts longer I will say that I
am mildly depressed. But I hope to nip it in the bud.

Anyway feel free to send me healing vibes. One
thing I think would help is to imagine a metal
band around my head at third eye level, and
exhale sharply while imagining the band
expanding outwards. But feel free to use your
own healing techniques, even prayer. The
last time this happened it seemed to help.

I hope not.

I am on lithium and olanzapine which both have mild
antidepressant effects. My docs wouldn't want to
prescribe an antidepressant as well since it might
trigger a mania, mixed episode, or rapid cycling.
Also right now it is mild. But if it lasts much
longer and/or gets worse then we might consider a
change in medication. I see my family doctor on
Friday and will mention the recent low then, plus
I am in the queue to see a new psychiatrist (my
usual psychiatrist is off due to his illness).

From the Wikipedia article on Citalapram I don't
think I would like to take it since it can cause
sexual dysfunction and weight gain (a friend
of mine who was on it gained 40 lb and then
was switched to Effexor which she liked better).

When I am imagining the expansion usually I move
my hands apart slightly.
